In 2008, Mr. Basakis graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley. While attending U.C. Berkeley, Mr. Basakis was the recipient of both the prestigious H.W. Hill Scholarship and the William O. Morgan Scholarship. Due to his outstanding record at Berkeley, Mr. Basakis was admitted to Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law on a full scholarship. In 2011, Mr. Basakis served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Theodor C. Albert, Federal Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California. In 2013, Mr. Basakis received his Juris Doctor from Chapman and was admitted to the California Bar in December of that year. After graduation, Mr. Basakis was an associate attorney at Songstad, Randall, Coffee & Humphrey LLP, and then at Muzi & Associates APLC, where he practiced litigation in the areas of real estate, construction, business, title insurance, escrow, and labor and employment. Evan A. Basakis, Esq. is an associate attorney at the Firm. Mr. Basakis has been an associate attorney of the firm since 2018. His practice focuses on trust and probate litigation, including legal disputes concerning trust and will contests, fiduciary accounting disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and financial elder abuse.
