Experienced Trust and Probate Litigation Attorney

Bradley R. Kirk is the lead litigation attorney at the firm. He is a certified specialist in trust and probate law, and during his 29-year career, Mr. Kirk has tried to judgment over 100 trust/probate cases in the Southern California Courts. Mr. Kirk manages a team of skilled trust and probate litigators and handles all manner of complex trust/probate cases.

In 1992, Mr. Kirk graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine Law School. At Pepperdine, Mr. Kirk was in the top of his class, was an editor of the school’s law review, and was proud to have several of his legal articles published. During law school, Mr. Kirk also earned a prestigious position as an extern for Judge Pamela Rymer, United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Kirk was hired by the international law firm of Morrison & Foerster where he started his career as a corporate and business attorney. At the time, Morrison and Foerster was one of California’s largest law firms. The Firm had 600 attorneys in seven California offices and thirteen offices worldwide.

In 1994, Mr. Kirk left Morrison & Foerster and started his own law firm. He had one client. From 1994 through 2020, Mr. Kirk grew the office to become one of Orange County’s elite trust/probate litigation firms. The firm now has four attorneys, two paralegals, two document specialists, an administrative assistant, and a bookkeeper.

Early in his solo career, Mr. Kirk became a certified specialist in Trust and Probate Law. This process involved (a) taking a mini-bar exam testing proficiency in trust/probate law, (b) obtaining references from peers in the trust/probate community, and (c) completing additional classes and training in trust/probate law. Only ½ of 1% of all California attorneys are certified specialists in Trust and Probate Law. Only ½ of 1% of all California attorneys are certified specialists in Trust and Probate Law.

Mr. Kirk has maintained his State Bar specialist certification over the years through annual trust/probate classes and a rigorous litigation practice. Mr. Kirk has become a regular in probate courtrooms across Southern California, where he appears weekly at hearings and trials.

Mr. Kirk personally manages all of the Firm’s cases and he is supported by a talented team of litigators, paralegals, and support staff. The Firm handles all manner of complex trust/probate litigation from simple disputes to multi-faceted and multi-county cases.

Interestingly, most of the Firm’s cases are referred by other trust/probate lawyers whose clients need specialized assistance in dealing with complex trust/probate litigation matters.
